Archery Clash

A wedding party celebrating their archery clash game

What is Archery Clash?

Archery Clash combines the intensity and excitement of dodge-ball or paint-ball while using the skill-set for archery, using specially designed foam tipped arrows. We currently have 10 bows, meaning games can be up to 5 v 5. We can take larger groups with teams rotating in and out game after game, we can also accomodate larger groups by offering multi-activity sessions

Normally you must book a session 48 hours before the event is due to take place. You can call us at 07961 978136  to see if we can accommodate you last minute however as we only open when sessions are booked please do not arrive on-site without a booking.

There are two main game types

Dodgeball rules where the objective is to ‘knock out’ the opposing team members. If a player is tagged by an arrow they are knocked out. There are two opportunities to be reintroduced to play: if a team mate catches an arrow or a team mate knocks a target out of the target box. If more than one player has been knocked out then the first player knocked out is the first player reintroduced.

Or Mayhem mode, where two teams battle to score the highest amount of points. If a team knocks out all the centres of their opposing team's 5-spot target, they automatically win!

Frequently asked questions about Archery Clash

Q. Does Archery Clash hurt?

A. Unlike Paintball, the arrows do not hurt on contact and have been compared to being hit by a soft ball. The arrows don’t leave welts, bruises, or marks, making it fun and safe for all players aged 12+. Every player is provided with a full face mask, wrist protector and we also have some optional body armour.

Q. What is the draw weight of the bows?

A. To cover the widest array of users we use 22lbs draw weight bows. These can be used by 12 years+ The draw weight is measured at 28" draw which would be an average adult draw length, juniors cannot pull back as far so the draw weight will reduce.

Q. Do participants have to wear masks?

A. Although the arrows are low impact, we implement the use of masks at all times. It is better to be safe than sorry. The masks protect your eyes, face, and throat. For glasses wearers we have an extra wide mask to accommodate frames.
